Manage profile, privacy, and security

Use account settings to control how your profile appears and how your account stays secure.

Before you start

• Sign in to the profile you want to update.
• If you use more than one profile, confirm the active profile before changing public details.

Update profile and privacy settings

1. Open Settings > Account > Profile to update profile details.
2. Open Settings > Account > Privacy to review social visibility and interaction controls.
3. Open Settings > Account > Notifications to adjust notification preferences.
4. Open Settings > Personal > Address to manage saved shipping addresses.
5. Save changes before leaving each page.

Review security settings

1. Open Settings > Account > Security.
2. Change your password and review your multi-factor authentication status.
3. Review the active sessions list, which shows the device for each signed-in session.
4. Sign out of any session you do not recognize, or sign out of all other sessions at once.

Expected result

Your public profile should show only the details you intend to share, and account recovery or password changes should be handled from security settings.

Troubleshooting

• If profile changes appear on the wrong account, switch to the intended profile and repeat the update.
• If privacy controls do not hide old content, review the content itself and any community moderation settings.
• If you suspect account access you did not authorize, change your password and contact support.
