Use AI summaries, clips, and content tools
Create AI clips from livestream replays, draft discussion posts and summaries with AI, and manage clip drafts before publishing.
aiclipssummaries
Beyond AI chat, a Space includes AI tools that turn livestream replays into short clips and draft discussion posts, summarise videos, and help with writing. These features spend credits, and the Credits page planner estimates them before you run them.
Before you start
- AI clips need a livestream with a saved replay; clip creation is available once VOD replay is ready.
- Each livestream has settings for AI shorts and Auto-publish discussion, which create clips and a draft post after the live ends.
- AI work uses credits with fast, balanced, and premium quality tiers, so check your balance first.
Create and manage AI clips
- Open a livestream replay as the host and create a clip by setting a title plus start and end times; the clip then processes and you can track it in settings.
- Open Settings > Content > Livestreams > AI clips to review generated shorts from your livestreams.
- Preview each clip and check its status badge, quality score, selection reason, and transcript snippet.
- Edit the title and description while a clip is in draft or ready status, then publish it, unpublish it, or discard the draft.
Use AI summaries and drafting
- Use video summaries for uploaded videos or saved replays; published discussion posts show an AI-generated summary block when one exists.
- Turn a saved replay into a draft discussion post from the livestream settings, then finish it under Settings > Content > Discussions.
- Estimate AI chat replies, long-form drafts, and video summaries in the Credits page planner before larger batches.
Expected result
Replays produce short clips you can polish and publish, and AI drafting turns streams and videos into posts and summaries while credits settle from estimate to final usage.
Troubleshooting
- If clip creation reports playback not ready, wait for the replay to load or enter start and end times manually.
- If a clip will not save, add a title; an empty title blocks creation and edits.
- If the AI clips page is empty, create clips from a livestream once its replay is available.
