Customize your live scene with presets

Make your live page match your space. Add pictures or gifs around the page, put your logo over the stream, choose exactly what shows on screen, and save the whole look so every future stream can start with it.

Before you start

• Create or open a livestream under Settings > Content > Livestreams.
• Make sure you have permission to edit the livestream and its scene.
• Prepare any background images, gifs, or logo files you want to use.

Add background decorations

1. Open your livestream and go to the host studio's scene editor.
2. In Page decorations, upload an image or gif. It appears on the live page around your stream — not on top of it.
3. For each decoration, pick where it sits (for example the bottom corners), its size, and how see-through it is. You can add up to six.

Decorations never cover buttons or chat, and viewers see them update live.

Show your logo over the stream

Your space logo appears at the top of the stream automatically when your space has one. To use a different image, upload it (or paste an image link) under Stream logo and pick its position. Clear the link to go back to your space logo.

Choose what hosts and viewers see

Use Show on stream to turn each part of the live page on or off — chat, questions, polls, products, tips, the timeline, and more. Each one has separate switches for hosts and viewers, so you can keep something visible for your team while hiding it from the audience.

Save and reuse presets

• Save as preset keeps your current decorations, logo, and visibility choices under a name you choose. Presets belong to your space, so co-hosts can use them too.
• Apply loads a preset into the scene you are editing.
• The built-in Minimal preset shows only your videos, live chat, and the stream controls — a clean look that is always available and cannot be deleted.

Set a default for new streams

In Settings → Content → Livestreams, open your default livestream settings. Pick a default scene preset and every new stream in your space starts with that look. When you create a stream you can still pick a different preset — or Standard scenes — from the Starting scene menu.

Expected result

The livestream scene shows the selected decorations, logo, and visibility choices, and saved presets are available to reuse on future streams in the space.

Troubleshooting

• If a decoration does not appear, confirm its visibility, position, opacity, and image URL or upload.
• If you cannot save another preset, remove an unused custom preset before trying again.
• If a preset cannot be edited or deleted, it is a built-in preset; save your changes as a new custom preset instead.
• If a new livestream does not use the expected scene, check the default preset and the Starting scene choice used when it was created.
